Herbed Cheesy Chopped Chicken Fillet Patties
Simple step-by-step recipe
Ingredients
- 1000 g chicken fillet, cut into 1–1.5 cm pieces
- 3 eggs
- 150 g mayonnaise
- 80–200 g grated cheese (Gouda or similar)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp starch
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- fresh herbs, chopped (cilantro, parsley, dill — any you like)
- salt to taste (depends on the cheese and mayonnaise)
Preparation
- Chop the herbs and garlic, grate the cheese.
- Cut the chicken fillet into 1–1.5 cm pieces.
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly until the mixture is uniform.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (or overnight for the best texture).
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties, spooning the mixture into the pan to form small rounds.
Fry until golden on both sides.
Optional: Oven Method
You can also bake the patties in a convection oven at 190°C (375°F) for 20–25 minutes.
They will be slightly lighter and very juicy.
